Curia Meeting - 4 January 2026

The 10th meeting of Curia Rosa Mystica was held on 4th January 2026 at 14:30 at Room 204-205, St. Margaret’s Parish Centre, Happy Valley, Hong Kong.

2. Regia and Comitium (English) Updates

  • Regia news were sent out and members were advised to spread the news to the Praesidium
  • Explanation of members on leave:
    • Members whose contract terminated and need to return home are typically considered resigned, unless they are connected with a new contract, where their period not in Hong Kong should be considered On Leave.
    • Members who are physically unfit to go back to weekly meetings should be recommended to change to auxiliary. Officers are not allowed to immediately remove them away from Roll Call book, but should continuously connect with the members during their sickness and get updated on their sick status.
  • As advised by the Regia President, the HKCCCL used to organize crowd contact activities at flower market, Victoria Park or Book Fair but now no such activities are in place anymore. Curiae members are reminded that the laws now are very strict and may have severe penalties if crowd contacts were conducted. No flyers in public areas are allowed to be circulated. Members are advised to cease all crowd contacts with immediate effect.
  • Reinforcement was made for money excessive of Praesidium / Curia normal expenditure are advised to be submitted up to Curia / Regia.
  • Annual Report presentation by Curia Rosa Mystica has been aligned to be presented in Jun 2026.
  • Choir attendance were discussed but no conlcusion was made - hence, choir as assignments continues to be a valid assignment until further instructions were made.
  • Annual report are advised not to include colour copies.  Also, photos sharing are not advisable in printed annual reports in the future.

3.Coming Function

  • Acies will be held on 15 March 2026 in Christ the King Chapel
  • The Legion Jacket / Legion Tee was recommended to be worn during the event as per advice from the new Regia spiritual director.  It was noted that there were absence of Legion Jacket / Legion Tee and hence members are recommended to dress in yellow.  However, if members find dressing attire not appropriate from their point of view, they should wear proper dressing as if they are attending a mass.  It was agreed in the meeting that the attire is not most important, but that members have prepared their thoughts well to attend this event, and understand the meaning of Acies by reading the Handbook.

Curia Memorial Mass - 9 Nov 2025

CURIA ROSA MYSTICA MEMORIAL MASS 2025   PROLOGUE The memorial mass held among Legionaries every year is to remember those who we loved and those whom we walked together in our Legion of Mary journey.  Together, we say the Legionary prayers every week in meetings and Legionary events.  Through assignments, we brought lights to those whom we served and in prayers and caring, we carried the love of God to all whom we loved.  In our apostolic life, people we encountered brought inspirations, lessons, and guidance that brings us closer to God.  It is with this reason that the month of November reminds us of those who passed away and as we slowly close this year, we can continue to review all these and improve and grow in our journey with God year after year.
