Curia Meeting - 13 April 2025

 The following are the updates from Curia Rosa Mystica held on 13 April 2025:

  • The meeting was held for the first time in Indoor Activity Centre (IAC) in St. Louis School
  • Fr. Paul provided the spiritual reading from Handbook Ch. 3
  • Curia Officer Nomination was in place, with the following officers concluded:
    • Br. Conrad Chau (Our Lady of Lourdes Praesidium) elected as Curia President
    • Sr. Maria Loh (Comforter of the Afflicted Praesidium) elected as Curia Vice President
    • Sr. Lovelyn De Vera (Our Lady of Sorrows Praesidium) elected as Curia Secretary
    • Sr. Loletta Or (Our Lady of Lourdes Praesidium) elected as Curia Treasurer
  • The following are updates from the Curia:
    • Walkathon was held with 230 English-speaking members attending.  As a token of thanks, coupons are distributed 
    • Fr. Francis Tam will step down as Regia Spiritual Director and Fr. Timothy Wan will be the new Spiritual Director.  As a token of thanks to Fr. Tam, Fr. Paul Tam will be organizing a Thanksgiving Mass at 10am on 1 May (Thursday) in St. Teresa's Church.  All are welcome.  
    • Regia will present the annual report on 27 April
    • Regia will organize a Retreat between 24 and 25 May 2025 at St. Paul's House of Prayer in Sheung Shui. Rev. Timothy Wan will conduct this in Chinese / Cantonese.  The retreat will cost $450.  Deadline for submission of registration is set for 17 April 2025.
    • Annual Curia Retreat is scheduled for the same day of the June 2025 Curia (*** Updated after Curia meeting) 
    • Curia Outdoor Function will be held at 14:00 on 3 August 2025 at St. Joseph's Church in Fanling.  
  • Treasurer's Statement will be updated next meeting, with half of Curia Rosarii funding transferred to Curia Rosa Mystica.  Continuous contribution from the Curia members are appreciated to submit to Comitium (English) and further up.
  • Allocutio from Fr. Paul reminded us on the importance of attending daily masses and saying the Rosary, with continuous reliance to our Lady.
  • Annual Report Presentation in May 2025 - Our Lady of Lourdes Praesidium will be visited by Comforter of the Afflcted Praesidium and Curia Vice President.
  • Annual Report Presentation in July 2025 - Mary Star of the Sea Praesidium will be visited by Immaculate Heart of Mary Paresidium and Curia President. 
  • Visitation of Curia members to Praesidium for Annual Reports for other Praesidia will be distributed in the next Curia meeting.   
  • Junior Curia visits will remain unchanged, with Curia Rosarii being the official attachment made to Curia Mater Dei.  
  • Curia Members (Praesidium officers) are recommended to become paperless in reporting Praesidium Updates.  This is the link.  Curia Members attending the meeting are distributed the QR code from the Curia President.  Curia Members are encouraged to submit everything online and become paperless in the future. 
  • The next Curia meeting shall be confirmed in due course.   

Above all, let's continue to pray for each and everyone of the Curia.  Today is an establishment day - let's continue our Legionary work, with courage and love.  Keep it up, brothers and sisters!

Curia Memorial Mass - 9 Nov 2025

CURIA ROSA MYSTICA MEMORIAL MASS 2025   PROLOGUE The memorial mass held among Legionaries every year is to remember those who we loved and those whom we walked together in our Legion of Mary journey.  Together, we say the Legionary prayers every week in meetings and Legionary events.  Through assignments, we brought lights to those whom we served and in prayers and caring, we carried the love of God to all whom we loved.  In our apostolic life, people we encountered brought inspirations, lessons, and guidance that brings us closer to God.  It is with this reason that the month of November reminds us of those who passed away and as we slowly close this year, we can continue to review all these and improve and grow in our journey with God year after year.   The following are the updates from Curia Rosa Mystica held on 4 May 2025: The meeting was held for the first time in Room 204-205 in St. Margaret's Parish  Fr.
